Meditation Techniques

Meditation is a form of relaxation for the body and mind. It is used for self-healing and for spiritual realization. There are many forms of meditation and with each category, there are many methods.

Which category do you choose? That depends upon the purpose and what works for the individual.

Bija mantra meditations affect the flow of the elemental energies and the subtle and physical bodies. They are used for healing as well by the Ayurveda practitioner.

There are also general mantras that can be used such as "OM" (I AM) or "So-Hum" (He am I).
