Massage Services
Aromatherapy-aids in the massage session either diffused into the air or by mixing the essential oil with the massage oil which is directly applied to the skin.
Ayurvedic-used in conjunction with essential oils and after an initial evaluation to determine the doshic imbalance.
Chair Massage - usually used for wellness fairs and for clients that are unable to lie on the massage table
Craniosacral-a gentle treatment for only the head and upper shoulders used in chronic headaches
Cupping-using suction cups to relieve extreme pain and muscle tightness
Deep Tissue-involves deep pressure with the forearms and elbows used to access deep layers of muscles
Hot Stones-are applied directly to the skin either through stroking the muscles or laying on congestive muscles
Medical-usually a physician will prescribe for certain medical conditions such as fibromyalgia, rheumatism, cancer, depression, accidents and recovering from surgery.
Prenatal-a side-lying position to alleviate back pain, leg cramps, and poor circulation experienced during pregnancy
PRRT (Primal Refelx Release Technique)-addressing the antagonist muscle by using a neoceptive startle reflex (karate chop) to release the pain
Reflexology-applying pressure to the hands and feet to stimulate corresponding parts of the body
Sports-stimulating stretching techniques geared towards athletes to enhance their performance and to aid in recovery
Swedish-using gentle, soothing strokes to relax the body
Trigger point-targets the source of pain by applying pressure to the muscle bundles, or knots
